APPLICATION
The DA-series dust extractors with manual filter cleaning makes up the first series of filter-type dust extractors. They have been designed to provide effective, economical solutions to a wide range of dust extraction problems encountered in industries of all types. To keep installation and maintenance costs to a minimum, the key design principles of the DA-series dust extractors are high performance, service durability and ease of use. Different specifications are available, depending on the type of fan, filter element, filter-cleaning system and dust extraction system.
An extensive range of options and accessories means that reliable, custom-made systems can be created to meet specific customer requirements.

OPERATION
1 Suction is generated in the unit by the motor fan group.
2 The dust-laden air passes directly into the pressure-reduction chamber.
3 Coarse dust falls directly, by gravity, into the collection drawer (or bucket) as soon as it enters a low-speed zone.
4 Fine dust is deposited on the filter element.
5 The filter is cleaned, when the fan is stopped, by operating the lever on the side of the unit.
6 The filtered air is evacuated outside via an opening at the rear of the unit.
7 The filters are removed by opening the front door and undoing the bakelite screws on the top of the unit.
