DUST EXTRACTORS

DAS 200 - 250 - 400 - 500 - 1000.

APPLICATION
The DAS range of dust extractors, with a powered vibration system of filter cleaning, makes up the second series of filter-type dust extractors. They have been designed to provide high-performance technical solutions to a very wide range of dust extraction problems encountered in all kinds of metallurgical and chemical industries. The key design principles of the DAS units are automatic operation, high performance and service durability. With their modern design and reliable components, these meticulously constructed units are exceptionally well equipped to deal with any works extraction task. Different specifications are available, depending on the type of fan and filter elements. An extensive range of options and accessories means that reliable, custom-made systems can be created to meet a wide variety of requirements.

OPERATION
1 Suction is generated in the unit by the motor fan group.
2 The dust-laden air passes directly into the pressure-reduction chamber.
3 Coarse dust falls directly, by gravity, into the collection bucket as soon as it enters a low-speed zone.
4 Fine dust is deposited on the filter element.
5 The filter is cleaned, when the fan is stopped, by vibration of the filter elements. The filters are vibrated by a cam which is actuated by a secondary electric motor.
6 The filtered air is evacuated outside via an opening at the rear of the unit.
7 The filters are removed by opening the front door and undoing the bakelite screws on the top of the unit.
8 laThe bucket is emptied by drawing forward the front part of the bucket to release the side hooks.

DAS CC 150 - 200 - 250 - 400 - 500 - 1000.

APPLICATION
The DAS CC range of dust extractors, with reverse-flow pneumatic filter cleaning, makes up the third series of highly efficient filter-type dust extractors. They have been designed for the intensive operating conditions that are often necessary in some industries, where ventilation has to be continuous. The DAS CC units are robustly constructed to operate unattended, providing efficient, round-the-clock service. With their resolutely modern design and meticulously selected components, these units have been manufactured to an exceptionally high standard for all industrial applications. The filtering system is based on washable cartridges, so that the units will comply with any future regulations on levels of filter waste. The pneumatic filter cleaning system ensures that the filter elements are cleaned continuously. This means that the filters remain perfectly clean, thus maintaining the efficiency of the extractor fan. An extensive range of options and accessories means that reliable systems can be created to meet specific customer requirements.
